- Find a quiet room. Use a headset or hold your phone about a hand's width away.
- Press Start recording and read the script in your normal speaking voice. Read it twice if you finish early.
- Aim for 1½ to 2 minutes. Recording stops at 3 minutes.
- Listen back, confirm it's your voice, and press Create my voice.
Hi, this is [your name] with [your company], NMLS number [your NMLS number]. Thanks for calling. Our office is closed right now, or I'm with another client, but your call matters to me and I didn't want it to go to a voicemail box that nobody checks. My AI assistant is going to answer for me. She'll take down your name, the best number to call you back, and a few words about what you need — whether you're thinking about a refinance, tapping into your home's equity, buying a home, or you just have a question about a file we're already working on. Please speak slowly when you give your phone number, and say it digit by digit so nothing gets mixed up. If you'd rather I text you back, just say so, and she'll ask your permission first. She won't ask for your Social Security number, your bank account, or any card numbers, and you should never give those out over the phone to anyone you didn't call yourself. She also can't quote rates or tell you whether a loan will work — those are conversations I want to have with you personally, after I've had a chance to look at your situation. I check my messages first thing every morning, and I'll call you back on the next business day. If it's a weekend or a holiday, I'll reach out as soon as the office opens. I've been doing this for a while, and I know how much a home means to a family, so I take every call seriously. Thanks again for calling [your company]. I look forward to talking with you soon.
